The Columbia County Planning & Zoning Board and Board of Adjustment is scheduled to meet Thursday, May 28 at 5:30 p.m. at the Tourist Development Office in Lake City. However, the Board of Adjustment is expected to hear four separate special exception requests involving land-use and zoning matters within Columbia County. Special exception applications are reviewed to determine whether proposed uses are compatible with surrounding properties and meet county land development regulations.
